We Moved! Here's The Tale...

I have some big news!!!

On December 17th 2025 I packed up my car with whatever could fit, my pup and my plants and hit the road with the love of my life to a little southern town in Arizona.

If any of you knew me well you knew I was working very hard to leave Baltimore to live that off-grid life to become closer to nature and live in true sovereignty.

While I was working towards that goal, however, my time in Baltimore provided me with so much I never knew I needed; learning curves I never expected, friendships I still hold on to today, a little dog who I owe my life to, and a place where I found my calling in this world.

So, why Arizona?!

If you asked me even earlier last year of 2025 if I would ever live in Arizona I would have laughed, but I found an oasis that called me back home.

As many of you know during my time in Maryland I began practicing a special form of medicine-making. I was, and still am, encapsulated and fully immersed in the world of Spagyric Pharmacopeia.

Back in August 2025 I traveled to West Virginia to visit my teacher Phoenix Aurelius as he was hosting an immersion delving deeply into the spagyric art form.

It was here where I was reintroduced to my better half, Richard. We both met a year prior at a Plant Healer Confluence to listen to our teacher give a lecture, and without planning we both ended up at Phoenix’s class (again) an exact year later in the middle of the Appalachia Mountains.

He invited me to the Southern Arizona mountains to visit, see the land and dabble in some alchemy. While it is becoming increasingly popular, those who practice spagyria through trusted professionals and guides is quite rare, so I took the chance and flew out to Arizona!

As I was flying into southern Arizona the dark basalt and granite mountains flooded with juniper and oak spoke to me like I had never heard a mountain speak to me before.

“Welcome home, mijita. You came back to see us. We are so happy to have you.”

I had heard of the mystical heartbeat these lands carried, and I knew I’d be susceptible to their conversations given this land is a part of my blood, but to hear them before I even landed?!

I knew it quite instantly that I had to be out in the wilds of Arizona with this special man of mine studying, researching, practicing and breathing Spagyria. It was an alchemical romance, and the signs from God were quite loud.

So this is where I have been!

Starting a completely new life out here has been perfect even with all of the bumps, questions and natural anxiety that comes with such a huge move.

I give my thanks to God my Creator, my ancestors, my community pushing me to follow my dreams, my tenacity and most of all you guys.

You all have taught me more than you know, encouraged me more than you see and have supported me and my vision for my practice.

So what’s new?

Richard and I plan to open our own apothecary focusing on spagyric pharmacopoeia made with plants from around us, a medicinal community garden and a farmer's market right here in our little town. Down the road we will offer courses, workshops, classes, plant walks and much more in our little shoppe!
